About Dr. James Eells

Dr. James EellsAs the owner and operator of his own successful private practice, James Eells, M.D., Ltd., provides personalized concierge medical care to patients in the Las Vegas, Nevada, area. Prior to starting his own practice in May 2011, Dr. Eells was a member of MDVIP, a national personalized preventative health care network based in Boca Raton, Florida, from 2006 to 2011. Dr. Eells takes on a limited number of patients, which allows him to provide a higher level of care and customer service. He provides annual executive physicals for all of his patients to help detect health issues early, prevent disease, and reverse the aging process. In addition, Dr. Eells recommends alternative medicines when appropriate. He provides patients with his personal cell phone number, and he strongly encourages them to call him with after-hours emergencies.

A 1989 graduate of the University of Nevada School of Medicine, Dr. James Eells served as a resident physician of internal medicine at the University of Nevada Medical Center in Las Vegas until 1992. In 1992, he served as an active duty physician at Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas. Dr. Eells also worked periodically as a physician at the University Medical Center from 1990 to 2003. From 2003 to 2006, he served as a physician with Internal Medicine Associates, also in Las Vegas.

Married for 25 years, Dr. Eells has four children. He is an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and he served a two-year mission in Chile from 1979 to 1981. Dr. Eells is fluent in Spanish. He enjoys spending time with family and friends, as well as camping and backpacking in the Sierra Nevada Mountains and vacationing at his family’s cabin in southern Utah.
